The OSLN seeks to improve communication and increase equitable access to summer programming. In 2016, we created an interactive and informative guide to summer learning opportunities
in Oakland. You can use the online listing of summer programs at

This project was funded by OFCY, OUSD, and PCY with generous support from Rogers Foundation

This project was led by representatives from the following organizations: OUSD, PCY, OFCY, Aim High, and InPlay.

Next Steps

The Marketing and Communications Work Group will be seeking input regarding the online resource guide to inform the next iteration. The guide is also available year round and features listings of after school programs as well as summer learning programs. One significant challenge is ensuring that all summer learning program providers are able to share information about their program on the site. In order to list your program’s information on the site, contact InPlay.
